The musician already has plans after the end of her career. He currently lives alternately in Hamburg and Athens because he is building a hotel in the Greek capital. She is also writing a second cookbook and planning her biography. From her three children, she also has three grandchildren who keep her busy: “We are all very close to each other. When I’m at home, I cook for the whole family every day. As a grandmother, I try to be strict with my grandchildren. But they just laugh at my educational attempts.”

The Greek, born in Corfu as Vassiliki Papathanasiou, has lived in Germany since 1958. In 2015, the artist was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for her social commitment. Throughout her career, Leandros has sung in German and French as well as Greek, English, Dutch, Japanese and Spanish, toured the world, made guest appearances on TV music shows, and been rewarded with numerous awards as well as gold and platinum records for her success.
