Mainz – Frankfurt 1:1

Eintracht Frankfurt are slow in the Bundesliga. Djibril Sow’s team only drew 1:1 in the 15th round in Mainz.

Mainz, with Silvan Widmer and Edimilson Fernandes, who extended his contract until 2026 at the weekend, had to settle for an equalizer in the 67th minute. Frenchman Randal Kolo Muani, who arrived on a free transfer from Nantes in the summer, scored from Mario Götze’s pass for his 15th point in his 14th Bundesliga game.

Freiburg – Union Berlin 4:1

A fantastic calendar year ends with a brutal defeat for Urs Fischer and Union Berlin. The Köpenickers lost 4-1 in the top game of the 15th round of the Bundesliga in Freiburg.

Union Berlin has run out of steam in recent days. The amazing team, who led the Bundesliga at times, managed to pick up just one point from three games in the final week of the 2022 championship. Against Freiburg, defeat was almost certain at the start. Fischer’s team was 3-0 down after 20 minutes, missed a penalty and lost to Portugal’s Diogo Leite by sending off.

Fulham – Manchester United 1:2

Last-minute drama between Fulham and Manchester United. Ironically, 18-year-old Alejandro Garnacho, who has only played a handful of games for the Red Devils’ first team, fired his side to victory in injury time. Kevin Mbabu sits on the bench for the entire game at Fulham.

Atalanta – Inter 2:3

Milan – Fiorentina 2:1

AC Milan is doing better against Fiorentina than Roma. However, the Rossoneri need a bit of luck. Fiorentina defender Milenkovič’s own goal in the 92nd minute will win them three points in the last resort. The Milanese are still the first pursuers of the undisputed leader from Naples.

A brace from Moise Kean just before and after half-time gets the party going in the right direction for Juve. Lazio is slipping slightly due to bankruptcy and is now fourth.
