Ukraine’s military victory ‘not very likely’
Ukraine is pushing Russia back on several fronts. But they remain militarily inferior. US General Mark Milley speaks on the background of Ukraine’s chances of victory.
The top American general Mark Milley does not believe that Ukraine can win militarily.
The top US general Mark Milley (64) warns against excessive hopes for a short-term military victory for Ukraine. In light of its military failure, Russia is currently attacking Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
A: «Ukrainians achieved one success after another. And the Russians failed every time. They lost strategically, they lost operationally and they lost tactically.”

Meanwhile, Milley accused Russia of waging a “campaign of terror” against the Ukrainian population. “Deliberately targeting a civilian power grid that causes disproportionate collateral damage and causes unnecessary suffering to the civilian population is a war crime,” the general said. (eu)
