The dimensions of the Anker 512 PowerHouse are 21.6 x 21.1 x 14.4 centimeters with a weight of 4.3 kilograms. The capacity of the portable energy storage is 256 watt hours. Lithium iron phosphate (LFP or also called LiFePO4) batteries are used. After 3,000 charging cycles, a remaining capacity of 80% must still be guaranteed. Anker promises up to six times the life of conventional batteries. LFP batteries are also used in electric vehicles, for example.

The smart power-saving mode, which can be set at the push of a button, also protects the batteries and prevents energy wastage, as the charging station automatically switches off once the connected devices have been completely loaded. Anker also provides a five-year warranty on the charging station. If the battery is empty, it can be recharged via the various connections or, even better, with the included power supply. In an hour and a half, 80% are resupplied again.

Since the Anker 512 supports PowerHouse pass-through, the charging station itself can continue to charge other devices while its battery is charging. A suitable solar module from Anker is also expected to be offered in the near future. The integrated display shows, among other things, the current charging capacity of the devices.
