Her celebrity hairstylist assumed something completely different
Stefanie Heinzmann surprises with a purple hi-low cut
Stefanie Heinzmann is an inspiration for people who want to be true to themselves. The singer goes her own way personally, professionally and in terms of hairstyle. Her friend and hairdresser Martin Dürrenmatt supports her.
Stefanie Heinzmann has a new look with a trendy mullet cut, the so-called “short in the front, long in the back” hairstyle. The look was executed by her trusted hairdresser, Figaro star Martin Dürrenmatt.

She did it again: singer Stefanie Heinzmann (33) surprised with a bold hair color and an even bolder haircut.
Hairstylist you trust, Martin Dürrenmatt (31), gave the singer a so-called mullet hairstyle, also known as a mullet cut. This means nothing more than “short in the front, long in the back.”
“Life is so colorful and multifaceted”
But the Heinzmann variant is very short in the front, a little longer in the back and very short on the sides. And purple or “tigerlilly,” as the color is properly called, Dürrenmatt tells Blick. “The Stefanie is a softer version of this hairstyle, but it’s totally on trend right now. You can see that look everywhere, a lot of people are already wearing it in London or Berlin.”
When asked if Stefanie Heinzmann would have taken a more daring approach to the new look over the years, the star hairstylist says: “A lot has happened there. Since we’ve been working together and being friends, she’s been so excited to try new hairstyles. Of course also because he knows he can trust me. And of course, now with super short hair, it’s extremely practical. The hair is dyed quickly and the color grows out quickly. Life is so varied and multifaceted that you can experience it in the same way.”
“I expected something completely different”
Inspiration for Stefanie Heinzmann’s varied looks usually comes quite “spontaneously” from friends, Dürrenmatt continues. “This time it was the same. I actually went for something completely different at first and then spontaneously suggested this mullet cut and she was all about it.’
Fans celebrate the new look on the Instagram profile of the eight-time world hairdressing champion. Figure skater Denise Biellmann (59) comments: “It looks great.” And German TV woman Natascha Ochsenknecht (58) writes: “I love it!”

And if you look at the Instagram profile of the musician Lucy Hänni (28), you will also see where Heinzmann first presented his new style: the two Swiss stars are together with Divertimento comedian Jonny Fischer (42) as judges of the casting show “Stadt, Land, Talent” and filmed after Stefanie Heinzmann’s visit to the hairdresser in the SRF studios.
Luca Hänni is filming a behind-the-scenes Instagram story and you can see the singer with purple hair and a velvet dress of the same color walking past.
