It’s about it

  • In the current episode of the “OMR” podcast, millionaire Robert Geiss (58) reveals for the first time how much money he really has.

  • “I have a whole 100 million euros,” reveals the reality star. These are meant for old age.

  • The reality show “The Geissens – The Terribly Charming Family” has been running on free-to-air TV since 2011.

Robert (58) and Carmen Geiss (57) have been entertaining viewers in their reality show “The Geissens – The Terribly Charming Family” for eleven years. In it, the family gives a private glimpse into their luxurious life in Monaco and vacations around the world. But what does a self-made millionaire account really look like? Now the fifty-seven-year-old man revealed this secret himself.

“I have a whole 100 million euros,” the entrepreneur reveals in the current episode of the “OMR” podcast. And he adds: “That’s the pension, that’s the basis for me to be able to live peacefully even at the age of 70.”

On earth in spite of millions

As Robert continues on the podcast, he stayed down to earth despite his wealth. The reason is his residence on the French coast of the Mediterranean Sea. “Monaco has the advantage that we don’t feel really rich. Because there are people walking here, your shoes fall off,” he says, adding: “When you enter the port, there are ships 100 or even 120 meters long. There are models that cost 500 million euros. That means you feel normal down there. And we just feel normal. We’re not off the hook, even if we’re on a yacht.”

Robert made his first millions in 1995 selling the fashion brand Uncle Sam. That’s when he founded the label together with his brother in the 1980s. The brothers then sold the brand for 140 million marks and divided the profit fairly among themselves. The businessman now invests in real estate and stocks. However, his investments are not always successful. “The wire card cost me money. But thank God only a few hundred thousand disappeared,” said the millionaire.
