The Q8 E-Tron can be ordered from mid-November at significantly higher prices from 74,400 euros upwards. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in February 2023.

The new controller gets more out of the battery

Both variants of the Q8 E-Tron can be recognized by new details such as the retouched radiator, the two-dimensional Audi logo and the inscriptions on the B-pillar.

There are two variants to choose from: in addition to the estate version, there is also a coupé (Sportback, left).

But in everyday life, the update for the battery is more important than the appearance: With the new driver, the Bavarians can increase the usable capacity of the two battery packs, which have a gross capacity of 95 and 114 kWh. Because the aerodynamics have also been improved, the range increases up to 582 kilometers for the hatchback model and a maximum of 600 kilometers for the Sportback model.

In addition, the Q8 E-Tron, which competes with vehicles such as Polestar 3, Mercedes EQS SUV or BMW iX, should now be able to charge faster: up to 170 kW, the jump from 10 to 80 percent is loud Audi in 31 minutes in the future.

Both body variants, tuned to be a little more dynamic and a little more agile thanks to a revised engine on the rear axle, are available in three performance levels: as Q8 50 with 340 hp, as Q8 55 with 408 hp or as SQ8 with 503 hp . The top model can accelerate up to 210 km/h, for the other two the limit is 200 km/h.
