Spain’s King Juan Carlos (84), who abdicated in 2014, continues to make negative headlines – often about tax evasion, bribery scandals or his extramarital affairs. Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein (58) also talks about this. The German businessman had a relationship with the regent between 2004 and 2009. In his podcast “Corinna and the King” (German: “Corinna und der König”), he talks about his meetings with Juan Carlos – and how he once met an angry Queen Sofia (84) , wife of the monarch.

Born in Corinna Larsen – in 2000 she married the noblewoman Johanna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn (46) – informs in the latest episode about the “private tour” to which she was invited by the king. So I was quite worried about actually entering the palace unless I was 100 percent sure,” she recalls in the podcast.

“I know who they are!”
