SAP wants to become a cloud specialist, but shareholders are skeptical. The chairman of the supervisory board, Hasso Plattner, attests to the technical progress of his company, but to the lack of communication on the capital market.

He talks about the end of his time as chief controller – and reveals what 28-year-old company founder Hasso Plattner would have thought of today’s SAP Group.

Mr. Plattner, SAP is celebrating its 50th anniversary these weeks. How do you celebrate?
There is an event with guests and customers. Is it in the SAP Arena? I do not know. It will be similar to the 40th birthday, but under worse circumstances.

You can say you don’t feel like celebrating.
