13. April 2022 – 19:05 look

On April 13, history will be written on RTL. In the great musical event “The Passion”, the suffering of Jesus is transported to the present day and told in a modern way – with a large number of well-known singers and actors. Alexander Klaws (38) is at the center of attention because he embodies Jesus Christ. For him, it is without a doubt “the greatest role you can play”. We show how he prepared for it and the first glimpses of “The Passion” in the video above.

Alexander Klaws looks forward to ‘the greatest story of all time’

In the Netherlands “The Passion” has already become a small tradition. Live performance has been taking place here for eleven years.

Shortly before Easter, the time has come in Germany: After the music event 2020 was canceled due to the pandemic, the “greatest story of all time” will be told live in the city center of Essen on April 13 from 8:15 p.m.

Alexander Klaws is already full of impatience: “With ‘The Passion’, it’s told and reinvented a bit, because it’s another side of Jesus. Of course, I’m extremely excited about it.”

“The Passion” is so modern

Part of the big show consists of clips that have already been produced – for example The Last Supper or Judas’ Betrayal, as the following pictures already show.
