At the age of 21, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco met 14-year-old French impresario Mario Oliver Jutard in Los Angeles. That was in 1986.

It was amour fou: “And I saw Mario again and, I don’t know, it just happened between us,” the Monaco native told the “Los Angeles Times” at the time. The relationship made many headlines and ended in 1988.

The former boyfriend of the Princess of Monaco has now been brutally murdered in the Dominican Republic, according to media reports.
