Easyjet survey: Almost one in two guests suffer from flight shyness

Yet we fly more than most Europeans

Almost every second Swiss suffers from flight shyness

A survey by low-cost airline Easyjet in seven European countries shows that many Swiss travelers board a plane with a guilty conscience.

The Swiss like to fly and fly often – but they also know the negative effects.

The Swiss want to go on holiday abroad again. And the plane is a popular means of transport for a quick escape from everyday life. Market research institute Yougov conducted a survey of 1,000 people in Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands on behalf of British low-cost airline Easyjet.

Almost one in four Swiss citizens said they had taken five or more European flights in the last five years. This puts Switzerland in first place among the countries surveyed, as reported by “CH Media” on Saturday.
